# JFeelgood > Original paintings, the Self Work series, books, limited-edition collectible art cards, and a set of worlds and games being built by JFeelgood — an Austin, Texas-based artist with over 18 years of creative work across hundreds of paintings, five published books, five music albums, and video games. The homepage is a walkable first-person 3D gallery in which every painting hangs. JFeelgood creates one-of-a-kind original artworks that explore identity, resilience, solitude, ego, and the human experience. Work spans acrylic, mixed media, gold leaf, epoxy resin, spray paint, and found materials on canvas and wood. Alongside the paintings, JFeelgood builds software: virtual galleries, browser games, and world-building projects. ## Site Pages - [Home — The Gallery](https://jfeelgood.com/): A title screen offering two ways in — the gallery, or the classic site. The gallery is a first-person 3D building on a stone headland above the sea (WebGL; desktop with keyboard and mouse, phones and tablets with on-screen touch controls). It runs west to east: a Sunrise Terrace where the five featured paintings hang facing the dawn over the water; the West Wing and East Wing, two long indoor rooms holding all 186 archive paintings on polished concrete floors; the Sunset Court between them, roofless and open to the southern sea, where the eight Self Work paintings hang under a canopy in low evening light beside a reflecting pool; and the Star Deck at the far end under deep space — the Milky Way, a nebula, and stars — with lit cases for the books, the art cards, and the other worlds being built. Pressing E (or the ACT button) on a painting opens it at full resolution. - [Classic Site](https://jfeelgood.com/classic.html): The same work as a traditional page, organised as one section per thing being made — featured paintings, the gallery, the archives, the Self Work series, books, collectible cards, iExploreArt, Prototown, Driftbound, NOVA 7, the story of growth, and about the artist. Served automatically to browsers without WebGL2. - [Archives Wall](https://jfeelgood.com/archives.html): 186 paintings spanning 2004–2025 in a single scrolling wall. ## Projects (worlds, galleries, games) - [iExploreArt](https://iexploreart.com): Virtual galleries for contemporary art. A first-person 3D art space built with Three.js: every visit begins in a reception foyer with Mira, the curator; each resident artist has a hall of their own, reached through the foyer door or a share link they can hand out. Built by JFeelgood; hosts residencies by other artists as well as the Hall of JFeelgood. - [Prototown](https://prototown.vercel.app): A browser 4X strategy game in the spirit of The Battle of Polytopia. Pick a tribe, capture villages to found cities, harvest resources, research the tech tree, and out-fight one to three AI tribes — or play asynchronously online against a friend from a secret link on phone or desktop, no sign-up. Win by Domination (last tribe standing) or Perfection (highest score in 30 turns). All art is drawn procedurally in code. - [Driftbound](https://driftbound.vercel.app): A 2D top-down survival adventure for web browsers. Tagline: "Six shards. One shore. No way back." You wash ashore on a cursed land of connected biomes, each held by a primordial beast guarding an artifact. Gather, craft, build, tame, fight. Six artifacts forge the Driftbound Key, but the curse lifts only when every boss is gone — and each can be killed or bargained with. No locked doors, no scored morality; the ending is a reckoning of what you did. - [NOVA 7](https://nova7game.org): A classic arcade-style game focused on one thing: the high score. - [The Book of Shadow Work](https://thebookofshadowwork.com): Companion site to the book — art, questions, and practices for inner excavation. - [minicuration](https://minicuration.com): Sister site that produces and fulfils the limited-edition art cards. ## Limited Edition Art Cards ($23 each) Museum-quality 2.5" × 3.5" art card reproductions of selected paintings, sealed in a magnetic acrylic display case with easel. He has produced several hundred original paintings, five published books, five music albums, and video games, and builds virtual galleries and browser games ([iExploreArt](https://iexploreart.com), [Prototown](https://prototown.vercel.app), [Driftbound](https://driftbound.vercel.app), [NOVA 7](https://nova7game.org)). He has organized community art events and served in leadership roles at art organizations. In 2019 JFeelgood chose sobriety — from alcohol, cigarettes, self-medication, and the life he had been living — and channeled that transformation into the Self Work series. His practice is rooted in accountability, introspection, and the belief that powerful messages need very little to convey their strength. ## Press "Jonny's wisdom and insight belie his youthful appearance; his still waters run seriously deep." — The Confounded Cook, 2011, Gallery Off Broadway.
